What is a porcelain crown?
Crowns can be used to help restore the appearance and function of a damaged tooth. The tooth is filed down and the crown is fitted to match the size and colour of existing teeth.
What happens at sessions?
A consultation will be carried out in advance with an impression taken, and if the client is found to be suitable, the permanent bonding of the porcelain crown will be installed at a subsequent treatment session. Radiographic images will be taken if deemed necessary, with a €40 surcharge for panoramic X-rays. A €30 surcharge for a temporary crown also applies.
What preparation is required?
Clients are advised to maintain good dental hygiene beforehand, possibly visiting a hygienist to ensure teeth are in optimum condition for dental work.
